Players of wind and brass instruments often worry that wearing braces means that they will no longer be able to play their instrument.
Not true! Almost always, players are able to adapt their embouchure to accommodate the braces over time. It might be frustrating to start with and of course, it may feel uncomfortable and you'll need time to adjust to the change, but generally wearing braces won't spoil your enjoyment of learning an instrument.
