Teagues Bridge Primary,
Millbrook Primary, Redhill Primary and Donnington Wood
Infants have chosen Musicate musicians to go in and deliver
extra musical activities as part of the curriculum plus initiative
in Telford next academic year. Richard Shrewsbury, Director of
Musicate has had meetings with the schools to discuss their
requirements and the following projects hae been planned for next
term:
Redhill Primary - Tudor
Music Project - professional early music specialists will be
visiting the school each week to work with Years 3,4,5,6.
Donnington Wood Infants
Early Years project - Our early years specialist will be visiting
the school and working with reception, years 1 & 2 on a music
project based around emotions. It has also been decided that this
years Christmas production will be looking at different feelings at
Christmas time to link in with the theme all term.
Teagues Bridge Primary - A
mixed team of world musicians will be visiting the school over a 7
week period for a day a week to teach years 3,4,5,6 about different
aspects of music from around the world. It is envisaged that a
world music resource pack will be developed as part of this work
which we will hopefully make available on the resource section of
this website in the future.
Millbrook Primary - still
