Louis Clark

Louis Clark graduated with first class honours degree in Composition from
Birmingham Conservatoire
in 1999, during which time he won the Lyndon Concert Band Composition Award 1998 and the Birmingham Conservatoire Creative Studies Competition 1999. As a director of the Conservatoire's
Composers' Ensemble and Orchestra
Louis organized more than 20 concerts in venues including the Adrian Boult Hall and Recital Hall.
As a conductor he has conducted works by contemporary composers in venues such as the C.B.S.O. Center and the Adrian Boult Hall, and has also conducted his own music with the Lyndon Concert Band in 1998-99. He has worked as an arranger with the groups 'Delta', 'The Crescent', 'Misty's Big Adventure' and 'Grand Drive' which saw him conduct a 41-piece string orchestra made up of members and ex-members of the LSO and the RPO (London Session Orchestra) recorded at Abbey Road Studios.
Louis is a regular keyboardist with the group 'Delta' which has included several tours playing in prestigious venues such as Crystal Palace Athletics Stadium and Sheffield Don Valley in front of up to 40,000 people.
He has lectured in music at Coventry University and has been a teacher of composition, harmony/theory, keyboards, guitar and bass guitar since 1995 at Stratford college, Midlands Arts Centre (MAC) and Bearwood Guitar School.
Since 2003, Louis has been a regular workshop leader in schools throughout the country for the organisation 'Musicate'.
